WOODEN SPOON

On a sunny but blustery day the annual match of the ladies versus the gents took place. 10 couples battled to win but unfortunately for the ladies the gents were just too good and won by 3.5 to 1.5. This resulted in the ladies retaining the wooden spoon.

LADIES INVITATION DAY

This will take place on Wednesday 2 September with a 2 tee start at 12 noon. The format will be 4 Ball Better Ball and the cost £25 per couple for the golf and food. 

If any Strathmore Ladies do not have a partner you are welcome to play together.

The Annual Challenge Match for the Wooden Spoon between the Ladies and the Gents takes place on Sunday 23rd August. The sign up sheet is on the Mixed Board.

SCRATCH LEAGUE RESULT

Following on from the defeat against Blairgowrie last week, the team bounced back last night with a credible win against Craigie Hill 4 -1. Congratulations go to the team of Megan, Janet, Sandra, Amy and Lesley.
