LADIES AND GENTS TO PLAY IN A CLUB MATCH AGAINST THE SCOTTISH DISABILITY GOLF PARTNERSHIP ON FRIDAY 28TH APRIL - TWO-TEE START 1.00 pm

I WILL PUT A NOTICE UP  ON SATURDAY 1ST APRIL ASKING FOR NAMES TO PLAY IN THIS ANNUAL MATCH.

THESE GOLFERS ARE TRULY INSPIRATIONAL AND JUST LOVE THE GAME OF GOLF.  THEY TRAVEL ALL OVER THE COUNTRY PLAYING ON DIFFERENT COURSES AND THEIR ORDER OF MERIT IS A REAL BATTLE BETWEEN SOME VERY GOOD GOLFERS.

YOU DO NOT NEED A PARTNER TO PLAY IN THIS MATCH AS THE DRAW WILL BE DONE ON THE DAY.

Captains drive in

CAPTAIN'S DRIVE IN

The Captain's Drive in draw is posted below. Can you wear the relevant coloured tops depending on which team you are in.

Please arrive at the club at 10.00am to sign in and receive complimentary bucks fizz and to purchase your flags for the drive in. The competition will be stableford with the gents playing off the white tees and using their own stroke index. The ladies will play from their own tees using their stroke index and adding 2 strokes to their handicap and using 90% of that. The will be nearest the pin prizes at 4 and 17 for the gents and 6 and 13 for the ladies. The Captain's drive in will take place at 10.45 after the Gents captain has warmed up and made three visits to the toilet.

THE NOTICE FOR THE COLLINS TROPHY MIXED FOUR-BALL BETTER COMPETITION IS NOW ON THE NOTICE BOARD.   THE COMPETITION IS ON SUNDAY 16TH APRIL, TEE-OFF 12 NOON AND  THE ENTRY FEE IS £3.00 PER COUPLE.

IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A PARTNER AND WOULD LIKE TO PLAY PLEASE ADD YOUR NAME TO THE NOTICE AND WE WILL DO OUR BEST TO GET YOU A GAME.

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO STAY FOR THE CARVERY AFTER THE GAME PLEASE PUT A TICK AGAINST YOUR NAME AS WE WILL HAVE TO BOOK A TABLE.

URGENT PLEA FROM JUNIOR SECTION

The junior section has recently received a very kind donation of ladies irons however they are in dire need of Ladies Woods to make up a complete set. Could you all please have a search in your garage or cupboards and see if you have any unused clubs which you could donate. Also if anyone has a spare bag that too would be gratefully received.

With 15 girl members in the section the demand is high!
