THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE THE GREAT BRITISH SUMMER!  IT WAS WINDY, POURING WITH RAIN AND SO SLOW THAT SOME PEOPLE MUST HAVE JUST ABOUT GIVEN UP THE WILL TO LIVE.

CONGRATULATIONS TO SHEENA AND JACK SCOTT WHO WERE FIRST WITH 35 STABLEFORD POINTS.  THEIR CARD WILL BE SENT OFF THE PING.  THE BEST 40 PAIRS IN THE COUNTRY QUALIFY TO GO TO GLENEAGLES - SO FINGERS CROSSED.

VAL TAIT AND BRIAN DUNCAN WERE SECOND WITH 32 STABLEFORD POINTS AND CATHIE MCNAB AND NORMAN DYCE WERE THIRD WITH 31 STABLEFORD POINTS.

DIANE MCLUSKEY WON NEAREST THE PIN AT THE 6TH AND FRED BARBER WON NEAREST THE PIN AT THE 13TH.  THANKS TO GARY FOR DONATING THE WINE/
