Golf Update

 Hello Ladies,

I hope you are all well despite getting no golf in at the moment. Hopefully February will be milder and we can get back on the course soon.

The ladies committee have just met this evening on Zoom and have decided that the Winter league and knockout competitions be abandoned for the rest of the season. So far we have only played 10 winter league games. When we are able to get on the course again it seems unlikely that  we will be able to play in any more than pairs for a time, and with the ongoing travel restrictions, it was felt that the competitions should not continue. 

I hope that you will be understanding of this decision.

Golf Update

 Happy New Year to all Strathmore Ladies!

Updated advice from Scottish Golf following the First Minister’s announcement yesterday allows golf with a maximum of two players from up to two households. The same 5 mile travel restriction from your own local authority still applies. 

Ladies times will still be available but you should book directly with the centre and arrange your own playing partner.

The positive — we can still play!
