It's that time of year again!  The sign up sheets for your Festive Meal are on the Ladies' Board.  The menu looks like this.  Make your selection and tick your choice.  Like last year, we are planning a main course selection only with some goodies afterwards.

Winter Mixed Doubles Draw 2024-5

Your new Mixed Convenors Lesley and Graham Haynes have done the draw for the Winter Mixed.  

A £3 entry fee per couple must be paid BEFORE playing in this competition.  Please put payment in an envelope FAO Lesley Haynes in the Ladies Box. Thank you.

Ladies Section AGM - 30th October 2024

 

Trophy Winners 2024 

On a beautiful October day (once the fog lifted), the first Winter League game was played, with the AGM and Trophy Presentation to follow.  Jane Millar handed over the Captaincy to Judy Goodfellow; Diane McLuskey became Judy's Vice Captain.  The committee thanked Sandra Barber for her committee service and welcomed Lesley Haynes in her place to continue the running of the Mixed Events.  Many of the reports remembered the ladies who we have sadly lost this year and there were a number of photos of Sally in the slideshow that Judy shared.  A full list of the trophies awarded is up on the board.  

The ladies all enjoyed a meal together and the opportunity to chat together.  We were also able to wish our outgoing Captain a very Happy 60th Birthday for yesterday.  We sang of course!  Cathy made a wonderful cake to the familiar high standard, which we all enjoyed with our coffees and teas after the lunch. Thank you to the Centre staff for the lovely meal and friendly efficient service.
