Trophy Winners 2024
On a beautiful October day (once the fog lifted), the first Winter League game was played, with the AGM and Trophy Presentation to follow. Jane Millar handed over the Captaincy to Judy Goodfellow; Diane McLuskey became Judy's Vice Captain. The committee thanked Sandra Barber for her committee service and welcomed Lesley Haynes in her place to continue the running of the Mixed Events. Many of the reports remembered the ladies who we have sadly lost this year and there were a number of photos of Sally in the slideshow that Judy shared. The ladies all enjoyed a meal together and the opportunity to chat together. We were also able to wish our outgoing Captain a very Happy 60th Birthday for yesterday. We sang of course! Cathy made a wonderful cake to the familiar high standard, which we all enjoyed with our coffees and teas after the lunch. Thank you to the Centre staff for the lovely meal and friendly efficient service.
