LGU MEDAL AND CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFIER

Yesterday saw the first round of the Club and Rosebowl Championship plus our monthly LGU Medal and what a change in the weather it was! Very windy and at times very wet. Still that did not deter some excellent scoring. New member Heather Dawson scored an incredible nett 66!! Wow! Close on her heals was Lesley Haynes and Chris Sturgis who both returned a nett 69. Best Scratch score of the day was Dawn Butchart with 77. Well done all.

39 Ladies took part which was an excellent turn out and once again I was very pleased to see 3 ladies receive a well deserved reduction to their handicap. They are as follows:

Chris Sturgis was 26 now 24.6, playing 25
