The weather forecast for the Turkey Trot on 2nd December promised snow and sleet, but the Lady Captain worked her usual charms to ensure a cracking day. The Christmas hats were hilarious, the golf was a challenge, and the lovely lunch - well, we know what happens to turkeys over the festive season and that's how we all felt when we rose from the table! It was a fantastic day with lots of laughter, a visit from Santa accompanied by a saucy green and red elf (who looked oddly familiar) and the fun of opening those mystery parcels.
