Finals Day was a great success yesterday. In the Ladies Section, 3 matches took places and the photos follow below. We have a Club Champion who has retained the trophy from last year. Well Done Kirsty! Kirsty Brodie beat Judy Goodfellow in the Scratch Club Championship Final over 2 rounds, winning 6&5. It was a great match with plenty good golf played by both.
Our match referees were Lesley Redden, Sheena Scott and Hilary Thomson - thank you to them for keeping an eye on all proceedings, thankfully with no tricky rules decisions to make.
In the Silver Rosebowl Diane McLuskey beat Anne Baird with a very evenly matched final.
Having referees, caddies and photographers out on the course makes it a very special day. There were a good number of supporters out walking the course or waiting at points on the course to view multiple matches. It is very much appreciated by the players and a big thank you for all your contributions. Thank you to John Mill for some of the photographs.
The Bronze Rosebowl was won by Mary West, with Rena Lister coming Runner up after a well-fought match.
We were blessed with good weather and the day brought together the Gents, Ladies and Juniors in a shared Prizegiving with Fred Barber, Club President, presenting the trophies.
