TOM FINLAY TEXAS SCRAMBLE.

We had another great Tom Finlay Texas Scramble day. The weather was kind to us, the course was excellent and the competition was fierce! Eight teams competed and the scoring was close. Dad enjoyed hearing all about it!(Kay)

BALLANTINE CUP RESULT

Sunday saw the Ladies and Gents compete for a new trophy The Ballantine Cup which has been donated by the Gents Vice Captain Donald Thomson and his son Scott. The Trophy is in rememberance of Donald's mother who took a great interest in Scott's golf.

The result is as follows:-

1st - John Nicholl - 43 points (after count back)

3rd - Sally Fenner - 39 points

On a glorious day at Strathmore on Sunday 32 members enjoyed a social day and competed for the Collins Trophy. The day brought out good scoring and the eventual winners were Mary and Steven McDiarmid.
