80 YEARS YOUNG!

Two of our Senior Ladies celebrated their 80th Birthdays on Monday 28 September. This coincided with our match against the Senior Gents and gave us all the opportunity to wish them both a very Happy Birthday.

Happy Birthday Sheena Peacock and Rhoda Fraser

Thanks to Cathy McNab who kindly made the cake and to the Centre who were kind enough to present Sheena and Rhoda with flowers and balloons.

On another matter well done to the Senior Gents who retained their Trophy.

SATURDAY COMPETITION TIMES

The Ladies Committee was recently approached to consider offering earlier tee times on a Saturday morning in addition to the current 11.30am to 11.52am times.

The Committee discussed this and having consulted with the Centre it has been agreed that with effect from Saturday 3 October until the end of the summer season, tee times will be available from 9.15am to 9.30am and 11.30am to 11.52am. Sign up sheets will be changed accordingly.

This will be on a trial basis and will be monitored by the Ladies Committee. Subject to these earlier tee times being supported we will consider if it is appropriate to schedule times into the 2016 fixture.  However, it will not apply to every Saturday. It was agreed by the committee that the following competitions will remain at 11.30 only:

Medals
Spring & Autumn Meetings
Scott Trophy
Stableford & Medal Winners Finals
DWAS & DWAM.

Saturday Winter League tee times will remain at 11.00am.
