SCRATCH LEAGUE RESULT

Last night our Scratch League team of Dawn, Amy, Judy, Sheena and Sandra had another win this time against Blairgowrie. Again everyone played their part and the overall score was Strathmore 3 Blairgowrie 2. An excellent result against a strong team.

Next week will see our penultimate match, away against Craigie Hill. Good Luck Ladies.

SCRATCH LEAGUE RESULTS

Strathmore played our first Scratch League fixture of the year against a very strong Pitlochry Team at home on June 20th. The team of Judy, Sheena, Janet, Sandra and Lesley played extremely well and were only narrowly defeated 3-2.

Our second match was on July 18th away to Alyth. The team for the evening was Dawn, Judy, Sheena, Sandra and Lesley and with 3 wins and two halves we won the overall match by 4-1. Our next match is at home to Blairgowrie on Monday 25th July.

Well done ladies and good luck on Monday.

FINALS DAY

 Yesterday was our Club Championship finals day and contesting the championship was Megan Ashley and Dawn Butchart. Megan, who is having an excellent season won the match on the 33rd hole 5&3. Excellent match played in great spirit.

The Rosebowl was contested by Gillian Allardice and Mary Mcdiarmid. A close match going to the wire with Gillian winning the trophy on the 18th.

The Gents Championship was won by Scott Robertson on the 37th hole against Norman Dyce and the Junior Handicap Championship was won by Conor Hughes 4&3 against Kirsten Miller. The junior scratch championship did not take place as Megan had also qualified for this final. It will now take place on Saturday 16th at 1pm. Megan will play Alex Simpson. Spectators welcome.
