Just a wee note to say hello ! Hope everyone is coping with self isolation and not going stir crazy. ! A nice sunny day for the start of the season.......might clean my clubs instead !! Remember to put your clocks forward tonight. I can't even remember what day it is they are all merging into one. Oh that makes me feel better, hail on now.....thank goodness I am not on the course.!!!!( I lie!) Sorry this note has no structure at all. A lot of ramblings and no alcohol has been consumed.  All keep safe and keep sane!..xxx

CORONA VIRUS AND START OF SEASON CANCELLATION!!!

Hello ladies,
I am sorry I have not been in touch with updates on the situation but things have been changing daily. I myself am self isolating after 3 flights home. At present we have no symptoms.
It has been agreed that the "CAPTAIN`S DRIVE IN " be POSTPONED/CANCELLED as the risk to members would be too great.
The ladies committee has also agreed that ALL COMPETITIONS should be CANCELLED until further notice. The gents have said they will cancel until the end of April but I would say cancelled until further notice. We will soon be up and running again when the situation improves. This does not mean you cannot golf ( at present) but means you do not need to worry with signing in, card marking, computer entry etc which are all open to virus transfer.
I do hope that you all comply with the government advice on self isolating /social avoidance which will hopefully shorten the impact of the virus and keep us all safe.
See you all sometime!!!!!

with the winning score of 50.2 carded by Ann,, Cathy and Lesley.  Jane, Linda and Avrill didn't win but took first prize in the photo shoot.

Forthcoming events

Captains Drive in and Kinpurnie Cup.

The Captains drive-in is on Saturday 28th March. This will be a shot gun start at 10.45am. Ladies sign up sheet is in the locker room. Let’s give the Captains a good showing, the more the merrier.
Following on, on  Sunday 29th, is the Kinpurnie Cup, which,, day  we all know is a mixed competition. The sign up sheet is on the mixed notice board. This competition will be a Texas Scramble, start time 12.00 noon. Let’s get this season off with a bang by signing up for both competitions.
