Hoping for “3rd time lucky” we have booked tee times for next Friday 7th October starting at the earlier time of 11.00am as we are now much later than normal. I will carry all the names from today forward to next week so let me know if you can’t play.

On a glorious afternoon the annual match between British Disability Golfers and Strathmore Club members took place on Tuesday 13th September. This event was played in great spirits as always.

3rd team - Andy Mason, Mark Walters, Gavin Greig & Alan Izzard.
Thank you to the BGDP committee for organising a great day for us all and for generously providing a lovely two course meal for all competitors. The committee also made a generous donation to the Junior Section of the club.

Seven past Lady Captains took part in this fun competition this afternoon. The First Lady Captain, Margaret Young was the worthy winner with 40 points. Second (acb) was Dawn Butchart with 32 points closely followed by Jane Douglas also with 32 points.
Thank you to all who took part and to those who came along to join us for tea afterwards - kindly treating the present Captain to her meal.
Congratulations to our Ladies Handicap League team who were winners of Section A of P & K Ladies Handicap League this season. They went on to play in the final yesterday against Section B winners Kinross. Unfortunately the team lost to Kinross 1-4 in the final.

The Ladies annual outing to the Himalayas Putting in St Andrews took place today. After coffee, then lunch, the rain, thunder and lightning decided to ease off to let us out on the putting area. Great fun was had by all. Thanks to Katie for organising a very enjoyable day. Well done to everyone who took part.
