KIRSTY IS CAPPED FOR SCOTLAND

The Ladies Section are delight to announce that our 13 year old Kirsty Brodie has been selected to represent Scotland at this years SLGA Under16's Championship at Strathmore. She becomes the first Strathmore player to represent their country at any level and our best wishes go to Kirsty for a successful start to her Scottish career. Kirsty has been our Ladies Champion for the last two years.

The Under 16's Championship is played over 2 days on 10th and 11th April and we would encourage any ladies who are willing to help at this championship to sign up on the sheet
which is on the main board.

Although an individual tournament there is also a Team Event. Teams from England, Ireland, Wales, Italy and Germany to name a few will contest for the trophy. Two teams have been entered by Scotland and they are as follows:

Team 1: Shannon McWilliam (Aboyne), Hazel MacGarvie (Ladies Golf Club, Troon), Claire Robertson (Carnoustie Ladies)
Team 2: Kirsten Brown (Strathaven), Kirsty Brodie (Strathmore), Charlotte Munro (Gullane)
Reserves: Mirren Fraser (Powfoot), Joanne Free (Gullane)
