Sally has been an enthusiastic member of Strathmore for many years. She has served on committee as captain, as well as holding other posts, and for the last few years has been the President of the Club, chairing our Strathmore Golf Management meetings with extremely good spirit and some grit when required.
Over the last few years she has been determined, stoic (and many other apt terms) although constantly frustrated with the ankle and her more recent cancer diagnosis. She had been in hospital in recent weeks, moving to a hospice room in Perth at the beginning of the week escaping the hospital environment and enjoying her visitors.
She will be very sadly missed by the whole club, and many of the ladies have been family to her in so many ways. She has continued to contribute to the WhatsApp chat into this week and valued the connections and support immensely.
